sorry i've been blah at posting lately.

(i didn't even do a fun fact friday on friday.)

since christmas my life has been {b-u-s-y}.

brothey and sister have been out of school,

so we've been doing movie marathons,

(pirates of the caribbean. yessssss.)

quoting {the office} non stop,

playing lego star wars on the ps2,

and playing card games as a fam.

i know i promised a post of what i got for christmas,

but i think that's pretty unnecessary at this point.

just know, it was an {amazing} christmas.

both becuase of the gifts, and the fam.

new years was a {blast} too. sissykins and i went to a singles dance.

i laughed so hard my cheeks hurt!

let me just say, i'm grateful {2010} is here.

i'm promising to make 2010 MY year.

for sure. i plan on:

• traveling more        
• loving more           
• working more          
• living more           
• experiencing more     
• and not holding back

this week i have been missing so much of my "old life".

love my "new life" too. but sometimes, i just miss the good ole' days.

for everything i miss though, i have something else that i wouldn't have, had i not moved and started this new chapter. i'm grateful for all the fun times and all the friends!

seven days of {smiles}.

seven days of smiles this week.

it was a long week for me, and looking back,

i realize i had so many tiny miracles going on around me,

that i want to reflect on what made me smile.

1. {monday} -- i got my hair done. that was a major smile. and then i had a blast at f.h.e. afterwards! 

2. {tuesday} -- watched t.v. with some darling little kids all five of them wanting to sit on my lap.

3. {wednesday} -- attended not one but two christmas parties. loved spending time with my relief society girls, and then laughing with sissykins' co-workers at her work party.

4. {thursday} -- boo's first piano recital ever. and then, my visiting teachers spent 2 hours at my house. we sat on the floor and ate tater tots with sissykins' a-maz-ing fry sauce, they gave us pez dispensers for christmas!

5. {friday} -- went visiting teaching (for 2+ hours) and made some incredible new friends. we're talking incredible. played twilight scene it for the first time ever (and won might i add! - although i would have had fun no matter what.)

6. {saturday} -- drank some hot cocoa after a very long day, and then watched an episode of ugly betty with sissykins.

7. {sunday} -- woke up to find one of my out-of-town cousins at my house (always a joy.) and then after church and dinner we watched i'll be home for christmas which was an early christmas present to me!

so grateful for such awesome blessings in my life.

thank you to everyone who has made me smile this week.

movie chain. oh yeah.

(get ready for a big, yet thourghly entertaining, list!)

sissykins and i have decided to do a movie chain.

it all started when we watched the family stone last night

and started talking about how many people

(that are well known) are in that movie.

then we started talking about other movies each actor/actress was in.

that's when we came up with the idea of a movie chain.

so here, for the next 15 nights is what we're watching

meteor shower.

last night at 2am, sissykins and i went out to watch the {meteor shower}.

we only saw one incredibly huge one, and the rest were small.

but it was {fun}.

we bundled up,
and drank some warm {yummy} tea while we watched the show in the sky.

this year {sissykins} and i went ALL out for halloween.

we were fairy/superhero/80's peeps.

it. was. {awesome}.

we went to a crazy {lame} dance, where people stared at us.

you know something's wrong when people stare even on {halloween}.

oh well. we don't care. we had fun.

today {sisssykins} and i saw this

dog. we took lots of {pictures} of him,

and then he stood up and "woof"ed at us

and we got {scared} and drove away really fast.

i want a dog, but i don't want him to "woof" at me.

but if i did have this dog, i'd name him {timothy}.

and i'd call him {tiny tim}.

cause its cute. like him.

and we ended up eating at johnny carinos, because its so {delicious},

{sissykins} is all moved in now, and so her bed stayed {warm} last night.

that empty bed.

today my {sissykins} is moving in. we've lived apart for 1 1/2 years now,

so its about time she got her booty up here!

soon, that empty bed will be empty no more and i wont be so {lonely} in my room.

after pics to follow when she's moved in. i might even post pics of our {amazing} bulliten board because, truly, it is {amazing}!
