sunnies.

i have an obsession.
sunnies.
i have two new pairs on their way to me from Urban Outfitters and i already have about 10 others...

but when i see a great pair of sunnies, i cannot stop myself! i think they are going to be my most favorite summer item.

a few reasons why its not good for me to stay up until 3am:

i buy stuff. observe:+polaroid 600 film in color and black and white.
(boo that they only come with 8 exposures. but seriously, what is with everyone selling the actual polaroid film for $100+ that's just ridiculous if you ask me. grrrrr. but fyi the film is cheaper on amazon then it is on urban outfitters. and don't even think) about looking for the film on the polaroid site because it isn't there... or at least i couldn't find it.)

+fujifilm instax film (a two pack, so it was a good deal).
(again, fyi, cheaper on amazon then on lomography. i didn't look at the actual fujifilm site though...)

+fandom t-shirts. specifically, these two:
(i cannot wait for them to get here. anybody else love redbubble?)

see? staying up late is expensive for me. yikes.

5/18/11

my weekend consisted of... (another weekend).

this weekend the boys were away, so the gals decided to play. playing = shopping and fooding.
we did goodwill and forever 21

and ate at pei wei (a first for me.)
they have the COOLEST drink dispenser i've ever seen. its a computer screen that allows you to click on the beverage you want and then lets you add vanilla or what have you to your drink. genius.
along with the awesome drink dispenser, many crab wantons were consumed that night. scrumptious.

it was a deliciously good weekend.

there is no charge for awesomeness.

here are some totally and completely awesome things that happened to me this week:

this morning a mother and daughter who saw me miss the bus stopped and picked me up and took me to school. (and wouldn't take gas money either.)
awesome.

i saw a woman with an obe won kenobi hair cut, braid and all.
awesome.

at plato's closet i found some white chucks in brand new condition for only $18.00 (usually go for $40-$60) say what?!
awesome.

i go in for my second interview tomorrow, and then begins my roomies 2 day birthday celebration.
awesome.

what's going on with you guys this week? i'm also gearing up for the second holiday in july, pioneer day. another day of fireworks and awesomeness with the family.

over the weekend.

finally saw this over the weekend:
{via}
i know i'm a bit late on the must-see movies, but when you're broke as a joke and jobless like nobody's business, you sure as heck don't have $10 to see a movie. sad but true. when i saw it was at the cheap-o theatre, i jumped at the chance to see it.
anyway, it was pretty good. i liked it, but i don't see why people kept going and seeing it over and over and over... hmmmm. maybe someday i'll know.

i also did a little of this over the weekend:
{via}
retail therapy for the room. i finally have sheets and a comforter that i pretty much love and i found a few other things for ridiculously good deals so... i bought them. and i didn't stop with the bedroom. i found other great deals for things that will be going in my future house. i. couldn't. resist.
(pics to come soon! believe me. they're pic worthy.)

also, i don't know if you care or not, but i had lunch here (finally):
{via}
i've eaten there before. many times. and i actually haven't even liked it until just recently (but seriously where else can you eat pretty healthy for a pretty good price as well?!) but as of late i've been dying for some rio. and finally i got some. oh. you don't know what cafe rio is? well if you live in az, co, ca, id, nv, or ut, you're in luck there may be a cafe rio near you. {click here for location finder.} if you don't then i recommend vacationing to one of those places and trying the rio. its worth it. believe me. best. mexican. food. ever. (besides hole in the walls. those are the best.)

other than that i finally got my room un-packed (now i just have to get to decorating... even though i'll have to pack it all back up in a couple of months.) and hung out with the fam. nice weekend.

what'd you do? i'd love to hear.

xoxo,
