Okay all you avid book readers (and even those that don't read avidly), here is a question for you. (Or a few questions I guess.) What makes a good book good?
What makes a bad book bad? How soon when reading a book do you make the decision to keep reading or put it down and walk away?
And then, what kind of characters, plots, and situations appeal to you and what kind of all that annoys you? What books/authors do you like and why? What books/authors don't you like and why?
